Fresno Famous

OK, so I stayed pretty absent on the whole Walmart hunger thing, because there were more than enough people pumping it up without me getting in the middle of it.

But I will go on record here as being officially behind the Fresno Regional Foundation's online campaign. Here's what I like about it. It's not looking for a few big donors. This is all about thousands (100 thousand, actually) of small donors coming together. At $10 a person, it's totally doable. Just give up something. Math wise, you're looking at two trips to Starbucks (or wherever you get your coffee), two drinks next time you're at the Brig doing karaoke, or one trip to see "Inception" again (or "Little Fokkers" or whatever is in 3-D this week). This is a 7-day campaign, and wraps up at the end of the week (I think). I donated my $10 and urge all ya'll to do the same.
