This has been a tough week for the folks down at the Bel-Tower, the DIY punk club down on Belmont Avenue. Yesterday, they lost a good friend, ‎Ariel Gieseman, who was killed in an auto accident in Hanford. This, as word comes that the club is working to get money to bring the building up to code (which is sure to be quite a process).

Having a good, consistent all-ages club with a solid base of support (from promoters/fans and bands) is an important part of any scene and the Bel-Tower has proven its worth since it opened. If they have supported you in any way, it's probably time to support back. Just saying.
