Quick!  Mark your calendars! National Pancake Day is coming! IHOP is once again sponsoring National Pancake Day wherein all guests receive a complimentary short stack of pancakes.  Mmmmm Mmm!  PANCAKES!!!

No purchase is required for this all-day March 1st event, but a donation to Children's Miracle Network Hospitals is requested. I've gone to the National Pancake Day thing twice now and never been asked to donate (it's usually late in the day and the staff is probably too exhausted from the overwhelming crowds to bother), but do anyway. (I also buy other food--like coffee and maybe an egg on the side. So much for my "free" meal...)  I love pancakes and I rarely hit IHOP any other time. So this is a big event for me--FREE PANCAKES! Yahoo!

I didn't know who most of the "celebrities" were when I saw the list -- just Marie Osmond and John Schneider. It was a tough choice, taking all of 2 or 3 seconds, but I finally opted for a call from John Schneider. I figured he needed the work more.  Ha!  But how fun to have one of the Duke boys (was he Bo or Luke? I never really watched "The Dukes of Hazzard".) calling to wake me up and remind me about free pancakes at IHOP. How dumb-fun-fabulous is that?
