Fierce Creatures has always seemed one step ahead in the way it approached things. The band sounded awesome AND had great asthetics AND seemed smart about marketing and promotions. Remember the EP release show?

They are doing it again. The band is looking to raise somewhere close to $1,200 to pay for gas on the way to SXSW in Austin, where they will play several shows, included one for the New York blog, The Wild Honey Pie. You can help by buying a package to their send off show, March 11 at Fulton 55. For $30, you'll get:

• The NEW single Ships to Shore a month before its released!
• A limited edition hand screened 18x24 poster featuring the flier artwork. These will be signed and hand numbered.
• An exclusive shirt featuring the cover artwork from the single Ships to Shore
• Admission to the show 

 The deal is a limited thing, so you've got to sign on before Feb. 27 if you want to help. And you do, because the show itself is probably worth close to the price.
