Fresno Famous

There are a lot of misconceptions about downtown Fresno that people in this community seem to perceive. These past couple months I have had the pleasure of spending time in downtown Fresno and witnessing what Fresno has to offer. To be honest, I have been blown away at the potential Fresno has to turn what some see as a lump of coal into a finished diamond. You may be asking yourself, “What does downtown Fresno really have to offer?” For starters, downtown hosts what is called “Art Hop” which goes on every 1st and 3rd Thursday of every month. Art hop is great because it gives local artists a chance to display their work for people to see in a friendly environment along with other local artists.

Something else that can help bring out the full potential of downtown Fresno is their music scene. Fulton 55 which is located at the corner of Divisadero and Fulton is a fairly new establishment that hosts events for local bands and musicians. Downtown Fresno is a truly a diamond if you just give it a chance and aren’t so quick to judge.
