Exhibition on view at Iron Bird Cafe April 7 - May 1

Opening Arthop Reception: 5 to 8 p.m. April 7

April is “Autism Awareness Month” and the hardworking folks at The Village Educational Center would like to invite you to Iron Bird Café for April Arthop, as they showcase the artistic talents of children with autistic spectrum disorder (ASD). Sponsored by the Behavioral Intervention Association, with its programs vendored by the Central Valley Regional Center, The Village Educational Center provides a variety of services to children with ASD in the Fresno community. Offering an inclusive preschool experience each weekday – integrating 75% typically developing children and 25% with ASD and other learning needs – The Village also provides afterschool programs like “The Village Crew” for children ages 6 to 18 years old. Additionally, The Village provides trainings and workshops for families and professionals throughout the community.

Local artist and h&s gallery founder, Robert Amador, worked with the children as they created paintings for this exhibition. All works on display will be for sale and will directly benefit the Village programs.
