Rockville Presents: Out-of-the-box pairings, jazz, fusion, prog-rock this Saturday!

Progressive rock, fusion and jazz standards are on the menu from some of the Valley's finest entertainers in a one-night-only date Saturday, April 23, at Starline in Fresno.

ROCKVILLE PRESENTS is an evening of rarely heard music featuring master musicians from MIDNIGHT RUN, VALLEY CATS and ROCKVILLE, along with a noted soloist, doiing their best-loved music that influenced their artistry.

Guitar virtuouso Tony Craig (Rockville) and his band Double-Booked will roll out compositions by Jeff Beck and Herbie Hancock, among other legends.

Midnight Run's Max DeVivo and Valley Cats' Tom Scott are teaming up for Moving Pictures, featuring jazz standards and improvisation, an intruiging and innovative departure from their fame as masterminds of two of the Valley's most crowd-pleasing bands.

Internationally known ukelelist Pieter Moerdyk checks in with a whimsical, enchanting performance of heartfelt, beloved classics.

And Rockville closes out the evening with its eclectic, unmatched aresenal of multi-era rock, pop and R&B high-energy, dance grooves.
 

This is a one-of-a-kind show that you won't see anywhere else. Cover is $7, door open at 7:30. Starline is at 833 E. Fern in the Tower District.
