(Clovis, California): Prepare to spend a perfect summer evening celebrating the Organic Stone Fruit Jubilee at the idyllic M.O.A. Oasis Garden, 5790 N. Indianola Ave. in Clovis, California. This is a once -a-year opportunity for the public to purchase artisan stone fruits from the San Joaquin Valley’s most revered growers. Tastings of the luscious fruits are featured at this family event, accompanied by live music, expert talks, demonstrations, chef’s offerings and a kid’s corner. The event runs from 5 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Tickets are $5 and can be purchased at the event gate.  Children 12 and younger are free.

Fourteen Certified Organic Central Valley farmers from the region’s Golden Triangle will be featuring as many as 60 varieties of organic peaches, nectarines, plums, pluots and apricots at this fourth annual event. Live music performed by the multi-talented Eva Scow and Mike Taylor will serve as the backdrop to the serene garden setting. Local artist and farmer Paul Buxman will be on hand to demonstrate the easy way to make peach jam. Also available for purchase will be organic peach paletas from La Reina de Michoacán; organic peach sausage from Gus’s Meat Locker and Organic peach pies from the Chicken Pie Shop along with Organic handmade fruit pastries from La Boulangerie. Dusty Buns Bistro Bus will tempt your taste buds with luscious gourmet stone fruit delights. Open to the general public, the event will also host a children’s activity corner featuring crafts, as well as demonstrations and workshops on optimal health, flower arranging, and a tour of the fabulous organic farm and garden.  A traditional Japanese Tea Ceremony makes a marvelous addition to the line-up.
