Music fans have had a good run of local shows in the past few weeks. There was Flogging Molly, Rob Zombie, the Goo Goo Dolls (if you're into that) and last night's Pharoahe Monch, which by all (twitter) accounts was pretty dope. That's not counting the local stuff. The streak continues tommorrow when Fishbone gets down at Fulton 55.
If you grew up in a certain scene in the '80s or '90s, Fishbone is kind of a big deal. The band does a punk/funk/ska fusion and is known for its manic energy. In other words, this is gonna be dance party USA! The Burners open. Tickets are $20, or $25 day of show.
On a similarly nostalgic note, '90s ska-sters Buck 'O Nine will be at the Babylon June 18.
