Fierce Creatures is a study in what local bands should do.
The band has consistently awed me with its ability to put out good product (both recorded and live) that is aesthetically on point.
From the press I'm seeing, their new record Catacomb Party will be more of the same. The album, released (on vinyl, no less) by Paper Garden Records out of Brooklyn, is out Aug. 7, but it's available for preorder now. The band is also throwing a literal (sort of) Catacomb Party, July 21 on the Fulton Mall. It will be serious. Just check out the lineup.
