WineShop at home brings the wine country to you by offering boutique wines you normally would not find in your local stores. For a small tasting fee (yes we have to get around legalities as well :-) ) consultants bring 5 to 6 bottles of wine to the host(ess) party and conducts a tasting just as if you were at a winery, minus the long drive there and home again!

This idea grew from 1-800 Wine Shop after a number of their own wine club members began asking, "when can we start having tastings at home?" Odds are you have seen a number of postings circulating around Fresno, picked up a business card or even been handed a business card. So feed your curiousity and see what we are all about.

WineShop At Home has been in the Fresno area for a year and is looking to expand to the outlying communities. WineShop offers consultants a way to create their own hours, work either part time or full time, and has numerous trip and award incentives. But enough about employment back to the wine....

A typical tasting lasts one hour and includes information on the wine (smells, tastes), production notes on how the wine was made and information on the winery itself. There are also food pairing suggestions and recipes that accompany the wine and are given to the hosts as gifts. For those who are novice or unsure of how a tasting works, technique is also discussed. A number of wines come from the Central Coast and Napa areas. Who knows maybe one day we'll see some wines from Fresno or even Madera in our samplers.

WineShop also offers its guests a wine club which opens to them the opportunity to be invited to a number of events held at the home office in San Ramon, CA. Along with the home tasting, customers can also take advantage of their wide variety of gifts which include boxed wine and themed gift baskets. For those in the corporate world, WineShop has put together a corporate gift guide and along with their consultant, can easily put together a package that fits their needs and budget.

Custom wine labels are also available for weddings, thank you's, or can be used in corporate gift giving. You can create your own label or use one of the numbers of templates already designed by WineShop's in house graphic department.
