Here's a show that should probably be getting more press (partially my fault): Continental is coming through town tomorrow night. They'll be making a stop at Audie's Olympic Tavern.
The band has a cool story. It's the latest project from Rick Barton, whose resume includes being in bands like The Outlets and Everybody Out! He was also a founding member of Dropkick Murphys.
The idea for Continental actually started with Barton's teenage son, who encouraged his old man to put a band together and hit the road, father-and-son style, which sounds like a recipe for disaster or the best family vacation ever.
There's a good interview with Barton over at Amp Magazine.
