Gotta a cool project in need of some funding? No worries, that's what Kickstarter is around for. The latest local to use this creative method of getting capital is Fresno indie rockers, Fierce Creatures.
They are in the middle of making their first full length album and could use your help to finish it. Maybe you're thinking "Why should I help pretty people do things?" Well, as with all Kickstarter campaigns, if you back a project, you get something for your donation. And the band has some cool and creative rewards for fans.
You could get in free to every Fierce Creatures show till the end of music and time. You could have them throw you a BBQ with a personal show. You could force them to make a Swede of your choosing. Get exclusive music and shirts and all kinds of stuff. There's even something for a $2 donation. Check 'em out.

They're doing pretty well over at the Kickstarter, they've already got over $1500. Wow! Disclosure: I'm a backer with my way huge donation of $1. Cool band, good cause. It's fun just to watch good folks raise money for their projects. It gives me ideas. I've just gotta come up with a valid reason for people to give me money. My health insurance just went up but they don't cover things like that. Funny how the cost of some things always goes up and yet other things just drop, drop, drop in value.
