Fresno Famous

According Twitter and all our Facebook feeds, the only things happening are baseball (yay Giants. Am I right?) and some kind of election something-or-other (with binders full of woman and bayonettes, from what I gather).

SATURDAY

• Fresno's best cover bands Rockville and Shockwave, plus Blues Deluxe do a pre-Halloween dance party at the Starline. 9 p.m. $10, costumes optional. (Flier link)
• Twlight Park in Woodlake, is hosting the Nashville Challenge. 10 up-and-coming country bands compete. Noon to 10 p.m. Show is free (we think). $55, includes music and an all-you-can-eat meal. (Flier link)
• Here's a teens only event. The Hallo-Teen Jam at Blackbeards, hosted by Young Jizzo and featuring performances by rappers Zee Will, iMak and Baeza. 8 p.m., $15, $10 with costumes. (Flier link)
• It's a Nightmare on Fulton St. an art-show/costume party with artwork from Miguel Wilson and music from Sahab. 7 to 10 p.m. This is a free show. (Flier link)
