Bill McEwen takes over the Fresno Bee's editorial board

Lots of changes down at the Fresno Bee.
New publisher? Check.
New editor-in-chief? Check.
And just yesterday it was announced Bill McEwen would take over as the opinion page editor starting Monday. This is a good move for the paper. McEwen is a straight shooter (no BS) who really cares about the city, understands its struggles and has a keen sense of how things really work. Which makes him perfect for the political junk.
He'll serve as a good ambassador for the paper, and I am excited to start reading his work.
All in all, it will be exciting to see how these changes (along with the new digital platform.) play out in 2013.

that real fresno bee site is pretty funny. they bash the bee, and then summarize & link to bee stories in their "articles."
