An amazing party to kickoff the River Parkway Trust’s 16th annual season of “Parties for the Parkway!” Join the Trust as we celebrate 16 wonderful years of merry-making and 20 years as an organization.

The Kickoff Party is the FIRST opportunity to make reservations for the 2008 Parties season. This year the Trust is pleased to feature parties that offer walks among wildflowers, a bicycle ride to celebrate the William Saroyan Centennial, intimate dinner parties, canoe tours and much more. There is a party for everyone’s interests.

The Kickoff Party will feature a live and silent auction of more than 70 pieces of art donated by fantastic local artists. A special addition to the live auction is a week’s stay at a private residence near the beach in sunny Mazatlan, Mexico.

Delightful music will be provided by Carl & Kathryn Johnsen of Rosetree Celtic Music and the River Bottom Band.

The 16th Kickoff Party features gourmet hors d’oeuvres and desserts from 12 of the area’s finest restaurants and caterers, and wine tasting and coffee from a selection of wonderful wineries, a brewery and cafe.
