San Diego's Grand Ole Party is a brand new band that is creating quite a buzz. 2007 found the only one-year-old band on tours with Rilo Kiley, Vampire Weekend, and Yeah Yeah Yeahs. With the release of their full-length album "Humanimals", 2008 looks to be a big year for Grande Ole Party. In addition, the band was just added to the upcoming 2008 Coachella Music Festival line-up (the biggest California "who's who of the rock world" festival)!

Led by singer/drummer Kristin Gundred, the trio delivers a seductively modern post-funk rock groove. During the live show Kristen's smooth-to-ravenous voice is miraculously impecible; while she simotaneously pounds the drums. Tight bass lines and sharp guitar rhythms add to the dance-inducing party, most properly named The Grand Ole Party!
