Dan Zahlis will be presenting details of the Active Agenda project to the Fresno Open Source Users Group on December 15th, 2007. Active Agenda's mission is to "Reduce workplace risk, through global collaborative development and free distribution of open technologies and ideas." Active Agenda was recently voted to be a "Fast 50 Company" by readers of FAST COMPANY magazine. He will present the history of the project, why they elected to develop their software using open source technologies, details of their global experience, and why open source represents a unique opportunity to inspire innovation and retain local knowledge workers.
