Location: Fresno Memorial Auditorium in Downtown Fresno, 2425 Fresno Street.

The play, directed by Philip Bryan, tells the story of two brothers: Austin, a Hollywood screenwriter, and Lee, a small-time criminal. The play's encounter between the brothers explores the duality of human personality, and our primal capacity for violence. Tempers flare as temperatures rise out in the True West.

Aithon Theatre is proud to announce a special promotion in support of local high school Performing Arts Programs during this production. Utilizing special codes on BrownPaperTickets.com, participating high schools; Roosevelt(7667), Bullard(2855), Sunnyside(7866), Edison(3347), Hoover(4668) and University(8864) will receive a percentage of the proceeds from True West ticket sales. The purchaser would enter the discount code of the high school of their choice on BrownPaperTickets.com. Aithon will donate 50% of the ticket sales to that school‘s Performing Arts Program. General seating tickets for this promotion is priced at $10 per ticket. (Tickets must be purchased online and the school’s discount code must be entered for the school to receive the funds.)

Sounds really interesting to me, I think that I got too late though. Speaking about theater it's been a while since I last bought theatre tickets, sometimes we just forget to escape in the world of art.
