Seattle-based Akimbo pride themselves on being "Seattle's last hair band". Yes, they do have long hair and rock very heavily, but luckily they spare the glamour and replace it with a menacing and thunderous presence. Akimbo encompass everything that has made rock, punk, and metal a dangerous sound for the last 50 years. From Black Sabbath and Led Zepplin to Black Flag and The Melvins, Akimbo has taken close notes on the heavier side of rock history to create their fierce rock and roll vision.

Visalia's comedy/metal band TRAF will open. The band poses as Swedish-Metal Rock gods. On-stage, the band sports skin-tight pants and fake Swedish accents. They spoof all that is funny about metal bands that take themselves too seriously.
