A Year Of Blessings And Pain
This year has been a turbulent mix of positive and negative influences that have been a roller coaster ride from the first toast of the new year.
It seems seems that this trend will continue to years end as well. Don't get me wrong... there have been many wonderful events and happenings throughout the year, but each happy event seems to have been tempered with sadness and the negative. Myself, I spent a wonderful four months working up in the Kings Canyon National Forest only to return to family crisis and seemingly never ending court hearings.
Unfortunately, I don't seem to be alone in this. Many of my friends and clients also have had a year that they wish had never happened.
Some of the years crisis in the lives of others have been much more intense than mine and I feel blessed that my own life has faired as well as it has. I owe this to my own Spiritual beliefs and the Spiritual cures I have used for the ills of my life. I have counseled others on how to remove much of the negativity from their own lives and bring into their homes happiness and positive influences. This has helped, but there are still underlying Problems that seem out of our hands.
Our world is filled with the negative. We are in a war that most people don't believe in and don't support, people are losing their homes by the thousands every day, and our own government is leading us down a path of economic and social ruin. Even a simple smile seems to be out of the question to most of the people scurrying around the malls and stores frantically searching for the perfect gift they can't afford.
So slow down... relax. Have your home Cleansed or 'Sage' it yourself.
Bake some cookies and share them with the ones you love. Volunteer at a local charity and help those worse off than you are. Simple acts of kindness and a heart full of joy may not change the world, but it sure makes it easier to bare.
Blessings
