YEP! It’s really true!
Over 11 years ago I did a show that ran for some years, passed it over to my boy Papa Roots who ran things for years without fears before passing it on to Ras I Chant just less than a year ago. I did other shorter lived shows at odd times in between there too, but now, I return!
In fact, WE ALL ARE!
Starting JANUARY 2008 the Sunday evening reggae spot (6pm-9pm) will now flow as follows:
1st Sunday – Daddy Spleece (kicks off January 6th)
2nd Sunday – Ras I Chant
3rd Sunday – Papa Roots
4th Sunday – Ras I Chant
5th Sunday – Ras I Chant with Papa Roots (I’d do it too but I still have another show on a different station that night!)

REGGAE BRUDDUH, PURE BIG REGGAE TING MI JUS FLING PON DEM!
I can't speak for the other selectors, but FIRST SUNDAYS will normally go like this: 1st hour = ROOTS, and I'm talkin' SERIOUS ROOTS MUSIC. 2nd hour = NEW(er) roots and culture / lovers vibes. 3rd hour = hold on to your seats 'cuz yuh may just not survive bangin' DANCEHALL and exclusive remix.
I'll drop a few ska / rocksteady tunes here and there.
Please tune in and listen to music from my 12 years of deep collecting, out of my extra garage sized bedroom that holds my collection...
