SPECIAL BOOK READING AT THE RIVER CENTER
Have you ever wanted to know more about people who have lived in the River Center house in the past? If so, consider joining us for a book reading and signing with John Renning Phillips, newly published author of “The Good Intent: the Story and Heritage of a Fresno Family.”
Phillips is the great-grandson of William Walker Phillips, the second owner of Riverview Ranch, now known as the Coke Hallowell Center for River Studies. The book offers a glimpse into early Fresno and Madera history; the reading is sure to please history buffs and literature lovers alike.
