AntiMusick, is correct again. The content is engaging, even invigorating, then the comments become nil in depth of thought. What can be done to create a place to input positive improvements here in Fresno? Learn from the past, Fresno was the fourth largest place in California in the 1920s. Fresno attracted people from all over the world because it was a destination point. Now what, it’s the poverty center of the state? The cultural depravity center? Only to those that don’t even know about Art Hop. This place is amazing, in spite of the lack of community participation.

AntiMusick, get a bigger stick to stir the kettle. Since you’re into the great history of Fresno, perhaps you understand how Fresno’s dismal Downtown became that way with the removal of its transit system. Also, there will be no revitalization of Downtown without replacing the mobility component. BTW, there hasn’t been a voice running for Mayor to address this fact.

How about some innovation in 08? The status-quo is stagnant and it stinks.

I had to stir it up on here, gotta keep that fire lit. Some of the welcomed marketing on here that is not a problem is for local events and things to do.

My favorite posts on here are really on the topics of Fresno History, I welcome anything as long as it has to do with Fresno even if the people left the area, but if there roots are from here it's a worthy story.

I think Fresno Famous is do for an upgrade, maybe keep all the marking BS in it's own place, and give history and current events the top billings.

Believe me, as somebody who is no stranger to arising anger or praise simply for typing onto the site, --and have had such things written about, --or have written about plenty of things on my own (for or against,)
-NOT writing because others ARE writing, ---or even what they are writing on -IS NO reason to write or not to write.

The answer to somebody writing something you don't like, -or in a style you don't like, -is not to say 'I don't like this anymore,' -and walk away from the challange, -but to create your own material and share it.

The heart of any creative person (in anything,) even in writing, -is to express how you feel, -on whatever subject that strikes you.

In a way, if a person lives in Fresno, or is from Fresno, -it's all fair game.
I find the most offensive thing NOT to be somebody not liking somebody elses content, (because we're all different, and all have different things that matter to us,) ---but to throw in the towel, or say 'because you're talking or writing about whatever,' -nobody else is.'

I can't say that I've always agreed with your stances, -and I know sometimes we've had very different views on things, ---but you've always been credible (in my book,) BECAUSE you write about what you feel.
-That takes a backbone and guts, ---and is far more admirable than the standard Fresno Boiler plate of 'this place sucks, nobody says or does anything here worth reading or paying attention to anymore.'

I don't see that these people are breaking the sites TOS. I know it's sucks. Best thing to do is call them out like you are, let them know the posts are now welcome and that you (or anyone else on the site for that matter) won't be buying their products.
