View From the TOP!!! New Lofts at 1060 Fulton
What's up Famous community. I have posted a new interview with Saundra king regarding the exciting new lofts. Check out the full article on www.fresnofusion.com
Excert:Saundra speaking of the exciting upcoming changes....
We are building a high-end hair salon that will be run world famous hair stylist and hair color expert George Garcia. George spent last week teaching a seminar in Finland, and travels to New York once a month. He is a very sought after hair expert, and the Hair Studio will be a wonderful addition to 1060 Fulton.
Bistro: We will also provide the loft owners and downtown visitors with a tasty bistro. Our vision is that the bistro will cater especially to the needs of the Loft owners. If someone wanted a dinner prepared for lets say 7 guests, all one would need to do is call down to the bistro and the food would be prepared and brought up to the dinner party.
BIG NEWS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
My fiance and I had our daughter Ava Nichole Sloggett on the 29th of November. I was really busy so I wasn't updating the site as much I should, so from now on there will be fresh content daily.
Thanks
Michael Sloggett

Price Tag
The lower level lofts are about $400,000.
There is a price/size difference in the article on Fusion.
Thanks for the support guys!
I really appreciate your comments on the new addition to my family.
I really hope Saundra does well with the lofts. They look awesome
and have cool views of downtown.
We'll see if Fulton can turn it around.
your right about Running Horse
Who puts a deposit on a house without getting title or proper mortgage to the land?
Who lets someone tear up your land before you have the check in your hand?
Stupid Greedy People that's who.
Their land should only be worth its current torn up value.
Not how it use to be.
If your stupid enough to let someone ruin your house because they promised to build you another one you got what you deserved.
Promises dont put a roof over your head, feed you, or pay your bills.
Too bad they didn't get anything in writting.
But that's not the taxpayers problem.
The taxpayer's should not cover losses because of the property owner's greed and stupidity.
If it fails, look no further than Running Horse. Some people slammed $250/k as a deposit on those homes. Right now, they're worth about the price of a gallon of gas.
New developments can be risky business. You have to bet that (a) they will be finished, and (b) they will be finished in a quality manner.
Again, I hope these sell, but I'm not holding my breath. Did anyone ever stop to think that the people who can afford these places are the very people who refuse to work downtown? Now, some developer thinks they will live there instead?
As someone who talked to the realestate agent for Pacific Tower
The man could not answer basic questions about parking and saftey.
Also what if the plan fails?
If she can't finish the building are you jacked if you buy one?
I hope she sells them, but I have to wonder what she is smoking. $400 per square foot? That's more than double (maybe even triple) the average for Fresno. Not to mention that it's not in the most desirable area of town...
Oh, and as for creative types moving to Greenwich Village, they moved there because they could live in illegal lofts. Basically, the lofts were abandoned factories that the owners rented out because they didn't want to pay to bring them up to the residential code. They were dirt cheap since they weren't up to the residential code. I'm also pretty sure they didn't have Viking Ranges.
We need low rents downtown too
Greenwich Village and other legendary creative neighborhoods became vibrant communities because young artists and musicians could afford to live there.
Congrats on the baby from a recent grand dad.
price tag?
I think I heard about
$300,000
for the lower-level lofts
Congratulations!!!
On the interview and THE NEW BABY!!! That's very cool. :-)
About the lofts: Good stuff. I just have a feeling that the top floor is going to remain empty for a while, being that there's not much to Downtown Fresno yet.
Or maybe an investor will buy it and rent it out for a while, lol. Seriously.
