Valley Literary Listserv

What a great request! Fresno's poetry scene is definitely one of the finest. And I've got even better news. There's a really easy way to find out about all of the literary events happening in Fresno and throughout the Valley. Poets & Writers Magazine set up a Valley Literary Listserv where all of these events (including the library ones) are posted on a daily basis. I think you'll be surprised how much is going on.

Simply go here to sign up:

http://groups.yahoo.com/group/valleylitlist/

It's a YahooGroups thing, so if you've never joined a YahooGroup before, you'll need to sign in and create an account. It's really simple.

Then once you've joined the email group, you can send your event announcements or any other request for information or discussion to:

valleylitlist@yahoogroups.com

The listserve is a great place for Central California writers, authors, publishers, booksellers, librarians, publicists, or other literary event coordinators to announce Valley-wide literary events, freelance opportunities or other writing discussions.

If you think that you or others would be interested in participating, please help us to spread the word. It's a great chance for us to pull together and support each others' efforts. So don't be afraid to join in the discussion!

Thanks!
