Help keep (bring) cultural arts in (to) Fresno
Take this survey. It will help out the Warnor's Theater.
From Cynthia Cooper, executive director of Fresno Coalition for Arts, Science and History (FCASH):
Frank Caglia rescued the Warnor’s from becoming a parking lot and the Caglia family has maintained the Warnor’s for many years. Last year the family donated to building to the community and it is now a 501 [c][3]. As you all know, critical to the success of all business ventures is a strong business and marketing plan. AMS, through James Irvine Foundation funding, has been hired to work with the Warnor’s. Please help Sally, the Warnor’s and our valley by responding to their request and complete the survey. I did it this morning. It took me 5 minutes.
From AMS Planning and Research:
The Warnor’s Center for the Performing Arts, located in the Cultural Arts District in downtown Fresno, has engaged AMS Planning and Research to do a feasibility study on the restoration and operation of the Warnor’s Theatre and additional performance and administrative spaces within the Center.
A critical component of this study is to measure public interest from the performing arts community in this potential project. We are conducting a survey of arts organizations / producers in the region to determine current use of performing arts facilities in Fresno County and potential interest in renovated performing arts facilities at the Warnor’s. There are three potential performance spaces in the Center: the 2,100 seat-theater and two flat floor rooms that can accommodate about 300 and 500 persons.
If you could take a few minutes, and complete this easy on-line survey, we would be very grateful. If you prefer, you may also print a PDF version of the survey and mail it or fax it to AMS. We must have all responses by the end of day on August 24.
