In a recent Department of Homeland Security sweep, three of California's state representatives were discovered to be illegal immigrants. Due to their standing in the community, they have not been deported or imprisoned, pending judicial review.

Not to get political.

But it's Constitution Day.

That's the thing that...you know...the country was founded on.

Go ahead, read it, The Bee says you should.

On a side note, I've heard this guy is all about the Constitution.

FF & Famous Whitewater por vida.

Ron Paul

Not saying he's a bad guy for the job... but it'll never happen.

Hmmm, lets get political...

Due to a bit of insomnia (and a back that did not enjoy building a massive home-gym in an 8 hour thrash,,,) I watched a movie tonight that y'all need to seriously see.

'Bob Roberts.'

(It's a Tim Robbins film, --but it's loaded with tons of great actors, -including a rather young, svelte, and possibly posessed Jack Black.)

Why?

Well, I like to look at stuff from a variety of sides.

And, not to pick on the Ron Paul devotees out there, but I kinda saw some parallels to some of the spin that is going on (currently,)
---and was really blown away with how the film, (which is over 15 years old,) -could have been done yesterday.

It's funny, it's dark, it's just a little over the top, and has bad folk-music (but a whole lot of early Dylan Satire.)

(...the whole time I'm sitting there trying not to think:
-Okay,
L. Ron Hubbard writes a Science Fiction story about a guy who creates his own religion...
-Then
L. Ron Hubbard goes and creates his own religion, and it's a hit..!)

---You just wonder sometimes how much what is done politically and socially is 'fictional,'
-how much is 'satire,'
-and what is simply testing the waters for what you want to do not too far down the road,

-you know, having already floated the idea out in the form of 'fiction.'

(Again, I'm not poking fun at any one pol.
-just finding it interesting how so much of the lingo and method
-is so appropriate to these here modern times....

(golly.)
