i think to do it you might have to require registered users. but then, they're likely to just put links in their message.
is there some way to disarm that ability to link one's user name to a site outside of FresnoFamous?---that might solve the clandestine-spam problem right there.

I'm kind of suspicious of all y'all who's user name links to a commercial website rather than just your profile here on Famous.
Smells awfully like spammmmm to meeeee. And, I think it's clogging up the site, and making it less useable....sounds like a breach of
'terms of service' to me.
