Just want to say thanks to everyone who showed their support to the SCRG this weekend. WE WON!!!! The venue was amazing. The place was packed! We pre-sold over 800 tickets and another 200 at the door. That means we had over 1,000 Fresnans in attendance, which means we may take over the Selland Arena next! Our merchandise booth sold out so you’ll be sure to see many people with Smog City Roller Grrls T-shirts and bumper stickers.
Thank you sooo soo much for supporting your girls! I am especially proud of us for putting together such an amazing event with absolutely no PAID advertising and also bringing down the house with a great game! The crowd was unbelievable! Ya’ll are some loud folks!
We really need you to keep the sport of Roller Derby alive.
Our season is over but we will still be practicing and working on our game.
I am currently organizing some fund raisers to benefit local charities around the Valley. We also want to do A LOT more volunteer work so if you have a charity or organization that would benefit from our hard work PLEASE email me to discuss a possible event in the near future.
WE WANT MORE THAN ANYTHING TO GIVE BACK TO THE PEOPLE WHO SUPPORT US!
