I am Public Relations Director for Central Valley Children's Services Network, so, you could say my day job is connecting families and kids to needed resources.

Of course, the quote I see most often is from a fortune cookie taped to my computer screen: "The education of the will is the object of our existence."

Its so weird! I just happend across this thread and I have been looking for that exact motto(?) since my daughter was born 12 years ago.
I read that for the first time in jr high and LOVED it. When i had my girl, i wanted something like that for her bedroom but couldnt find it.

Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small doesn't serve the world. There's nothing enlightening about shrinking so that other people wont feel insecure around you. We were born to manifest the glory of God that is within us. All of us. And as we let our light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others."

I remember always seeing this on the exam room wall of my doctor and as a young child beginning to understand why I was the way I was and thinking how I could better myself.
