One hundred thousand dung beetles were imported to New York City in 1901 in an effort to clean the streets of horse manure. The experiment failed in large part because rats apparently like the taste of dung beetles.

Blues & BBQ

Listen up Cats and Kittens!!! Who doesn't love the delicious flavors of a BBQ loaded up with Tri-Tip, chicken and all the fixin's? Throw in some micro brews and a cigar bar and any Saturday night is off on the right foot. Come on up to the Madera Fairgrounds March 15th and you can enjoy a lip smacking BBQ dinner...and you don't have to cook!!!

Now to the 'meat' of the matter. The Madera Community Hospital Foundation is hosting it's annual Blues & BBQ event to help support the purchase of much needed medical equipment.

Ah, but the night is just getting started. Legendary bluesman Elvin Bishop will be tearing down the house in his only Valley visit in the coming months. For those of you hip enough to know, Elvin is a master of his craft. To fill out the night, Valley favs Ron Thompson and The Resistors will start the party right. Believe me, Ron and his boys will have the place shakin'.

Come out and enjoy tasty food, good music and a great cause. You want a ticket. You NEED a ticket. Call us at 559-675-5503 and get 'em. See you there.
