Shirley Kirsten, concert pianist and recording artist is hosting a CD release celebration for her latest disk, Scarlatti and Chopin.
This follows the successful distribution of A Musical Journey: Scarlatti, Schubert, and Chopin. Ms. Kirsten is a graduate of the NYC High School of Performing Arts (FAME); Oberlin Conservatory, and NYU (Master of Arts) She has performed widely on both coasts, and moved to Fresno from NYC in 1979.
She has benefited the Nancy Hinds Hospice, Valley Public Radio, American Cancer Society, Fresno Phil/Symphony League, and many other charitable orgs. and nonprofits over the years. Ms. Kirsten's concerts have been broadcast on Valley Public Radio and WNYC FM

The CD release event will take place on Saturday, Dec. 8, 2007 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at 4904 N.Arthur, Unit 102--townhouse in the front. Light refreshments will be served.

Admission is FREE.
