Fresno City Council and County Board of Supervisors Host a Joint Meeting to Discuss Homelessness.
This meeting is open to the public and will be held at Cornerstone Conference Center, 1525 Fulton Street in downtown Fresno.
The goal of this meeting is to discuss long term solutions to the homelessness issue. The public will have an opportunity to address members of the joint meeting regarding this matter. All testimony will be limited to three (3) minutes per person. If you would like to speak, fill out a Speaker Request Form available in the Cornerstone Conference Center.
homeless situation/possible solution
It is a suggestion that maybe you could have an open contest where the public can write possible solutions to the homeless situation instead of hiring someone to come in and play at fixing something that we as a community could work ourselves. Being that I am a student at Fresno City College and unable to pay for required books I personally benifit from the monies that would otherwise go to someone that actually has no real understanding of the homeless situation. I have lived on the Fresno streets as a homeless person and I am so close to being back out there if I don't get the help I so desperately need at this time. If you would like to hear some of the things that I feel could not completely fix the problem but help to minimize it's numbers please feel free to contact me at my mothers(559-412-4518) or contact me through my E-mail at msjjfine@yahoo.com Thank you for your time.
