Aisle 9, check for Voodoo Chile
Wow, The Undercurrent Show was off the off hook wasn't it? Even though I felt that scathing prick of insecurity creep of shoulders as normal, I had fun.
This Weekend takes me to my typical range of conservative situations to extreme vibrations of a overloaded speaker.
I begin my weekend journey with a show at Whole Foods Market in the Fig Garden, we start at 1pm and is part of something WFM hosts called "Flavorfest" where they feature all kinds of vendors, new foods, flavors, and of course..moi..on the live music tip. I will be performing both Saturday and Sunday from 1pm-3pm so if you'd like to come out, I'm sure there's good food to bribe you with.
Saturday evening brings me to another foray into Visalia. This town puts me in such a good mood..a muse is definitely looming over Main St. Visalia. I'll be playing at Crawdaddy's on Main St. in Visalia at 10pm. They have LOTS of live music, I don't know how many Fresno Bands play there ..but, I know Mah'op and Mezcal are both favorites of this bar. This might be considered a no-no for me, because I'm playing Fox Theater on May 31st. But we are still new in Visalia, and our Cellar Door show was just too amazing to turn down returning to Vtown again.
-A couple notable things happening -
The Ronald McDonald House will be auctioning away a 30 minute performance by me, that will be hosted later this month..so look out for that, because RD house is good for kids.
Check out Julia Dawn's Music if you haven't heard her, very addicting.
Now go out and enjoy some music and culture this weekend, Fresno needs you! - Patrick Contreras
