Hello,hello,
This Thursday is that day of days, the busiest day of the month in our busy
little burg.Yes, Arthop! is here. Our cozy little atelier will be open from
5-9 for your perusal and we have plenty, and I mean plenty of new work for you
to view(in a style maybe best described as post-modern kitchen sink cum
variety store/ junkyard). We will of course offer refreshments(wine and
pretzels kiddo) and it's all free. Come on down and hang with the
cognoscenti(those louche and liquid Arthop partygoers in their faux beatnik
raiment)join in some lively conversation about downtown parking(it's all FREE
on our end! we even have a parking lot)or the trees in Eaton plaza(are they
eatin' in the trees? is it treason in Eaton? are they diseased or despised?
should they stay or should they go?). Anyway you slice it,it all adds up to an
evening of some lively, stimulating, and carefree good fun- and did I mention
it's free? So what's not to like? Art with a capital A, good conversation and
refreshments. Grab some friends and journey on downtown(you know where that's
at).We are located in the heart of the Cultural Arts District at 1753 Van Ness
and Amador(one blk. south of Divisadero), directly across the street from our
good friend Bill Bruce(he of the big Cultural Arts District sign), who will
also be open for the Arthop experience. As a matter of fact Artes America, The
Met, and Broadway Studios are all within a 3-4 block walking distance of our
studio(Come take the tour).Need a reason to go downtown? This is it. Hope to
see you this Thursday from 5-9.
Best,
Glen
