UPDATE: I recorded the song. It's posted, here.
Leave it to the Fresnan to have video of me (and Will) bombing at the Beehive's Four Year Birthday Bash, which, aside from the bruised ego, was a total blast.
I haven't watched the video, so maybe we come off bad in a good, funny way. But that's not how it felt. I don't play electric guitar as a rule, and haldy ever standing up, so having the thing strapped around me was awkward to begin with (but looked so cool. thanks Blake). I should have taken it as a sign when the thing wouldn't make noise. When it finally did, it was seriously out of tune. Sign no. 2. I should have run for the hills. But, jerky me with my show-must-go-on attitude, I let Blake tune the thing while me and Will chit-chatted like a bunch of ... idiots, which I guess works with the theme, huh? When the fans started turning rabid for Patrick (no fault of his), I knew it was time to go.
I'll say this about the whole experience: It's nice to be reminded that you are not as talented or funny or prepared as you thought you were.
ah, THERe's the song.
ah THERE it is. Thanks FamousWhitewater for getting that audio up there.THe song has lotsa cool stuff now that it is heard in all it's audiophile wonder.
But don't be discouraged man, Dylan took a lot of abuse when he went electric too.

It was great!
I personally enjoyed it but then again, I was pretty darn drunk!
I say keep putting yourself out there, it keeps you humble!
You shouldn't fret about the
You shouldn't fret about the video, Mr. Whitewater. I edited out the guitar tuning portion of your 'bit' - Flowing Brothers take care of each other. That was part of your shtick, right? Yes totally, that's what I thought.

redemption shall be yours!
I know I was just teasing
I know I was just teasing you guys, but I still feel bad for being such an ass. Though I hope I wasn't as bad as the cougars yelling for Patrick, I just wanted to see Will topless.
Stupid me thought it was part of the bit. The sad thing is I was completely sober. Which was probably the problem.
Would love to hear the entire piece though.
Honesty.
That's what I look for in friends.
Thanks Abe.
humble pie
I'll be honest with you Josh, it wasn't pretty.
But I know you and Will will shake it off and be back in time for the Rogue.
