A weekend recap (of sorts)
Took part in (and ultimately lost, big time) the Blogger Olympics. To my credit, I only made one event. I was busy rockin' out with this dude.
Ed Stewart has a pretty good run down of all the events here, and The Beehive will surely have video of the whole thing up at some point.
Last night, caught the final moments of the mayoral forum on the tele. I didn't catch the whole thing, but Jeff Eben's closing remarks (essentially saying the whole thing ran too, too long) made me laugh.

I'm thankful for sites like this, and the one listed by a FF.com member to a site that sizes up candidates. I'd have no clue's otherwise.
That said, as seems to be the case in politics, it seems to be simmering down to a case of who sucks least. What happens is you end up liking a candidate, and then you seem to stumble on a kind of personal deal breaker for yourself. Then, you find that all the candidates have some kind of deal breaker for you. So how the hell are you supposed to pick one knowing you are compromising one of your own principles in selecting this or that candidate. Then you read some really bright insight on sites like this that make you feel that you are not digging deep enough for information. So pretty much, I'm stuck like chuck.(I'll refrain from further rhyming with those words)
