Canoes Around Town Closing Ceremonies

To celebrate our 20th anniversary, the River Parkway Trust commissioned artists to paint 20 art-sized canoes. All 20 canoes have been on display at various locations around Fresno. On Saturday, September 20 the fleet comes home.

The Canoes Around Town closing ceremonies will begin at 10:00am on September 20. There will be live music and guest speakers, including many of the artists who painted the canoes. All 20 canoes will be available to purchase through a silent live auction.

This is a FREE event. Head out to the River Center (11605 Old Friant Road) on September 20 for a very special day. We will hold a pancake breakfast prior to the event beginning at 8:00am. For $5 per person you will enjoy pancakes, sausage, and assorted beverages.
