Fresno Famous

We are currently casting in Fresno, CA for scenes to be shot in the next couple weeks on the indie feature, "Apocalypse, CA". We have a small number of speaking roles to fill up, both male and female, ages 18 thru 80. ALL ROLES ARE NON-PAYING. The best we can offer as a micro-budget indie, is to feed you and to provide you with excellent footage for your demo reels (a sample of our work is listed below). Filming to take place on the weekend of August 15th & 16th. Most of our film has already been shot/completed - this will be the final weekend of our entire shooting schedule, which has entirely taken place in southern California until now. We're looking for headshots/resumes (rookies & experienced - all are okay!) ROLES we are casting for:

Kramer - Supporting / MALE / 24 TO 80
Assistant to God. Cynical, bitter, bossy. Shares some great moments with one of the leads. We're looking for someone intimidating. Several scenes and several lines of dialogue.

Angela - One Day Guest Star / FEMALE / 22 TO 80
God's file clerk. Keeps tabs on endless amounts of paperwork, while also granting approval to large-scale projects. Fun. She's got one scene with plenty of fun & lengthy dialogue across from a lead character. Room to play with this character.

Warner - One Day Guest Star / MALE OR FEMALE / 23 TO 55
Main nemesis to one of our lead characters. This is the guy we love to hate, but he's too authentic to realize that he comes off as a douchebag. Warner is in one scene, but it's a memorable one, and he's referred to in several other scenes in the movie. His character controls the fate of mankind. We could really go either way with this character, male or female, if you sell us on it. ;)

Mendenhall - Supporting / MALE OR FEMALE / 21 TO 35
A young deity (a god). Naive, scrawny and nerdy. Stays to himself. He can't save humanity, because he's stuffed in a locker. Fun role, only a few lines. Two scenes. Could be a female or male.
