This year, Central California Winegrowers, in conjunction with the fourth annual Fall Wine Cornucopia, asked local artists to create a vision based on the theme “Cornucopia” and/or “Sip of the San Joaquin” for its second annual poster competition.
The competition, which takes place tonight (Aug 14) from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Arte Américas, will feature pieces from some of the valley’s most talented artists. The general public has the opportunity to see these wonderful works for the regular Arte Américas admission price. Wine and cheese will be served throughout the night.
The art will be judged by members of the community and art enthusiasts alike. The winning piece of art will be announced no later than August 27. The artwork will be lithographed and used for promotion of the Fall Wine Cornucopia, which takes place on October 25.
