The Blender is back baby and for August we have our head in the clouds! This special Blender is going down at The Lofts At 1060 Fulton on the 11th floor of the Fresno Pacific Towers building (formally known as the Security Bank Building).

Owner Saundra King has opened The Lofts for the first time to showcase the artwork of Aileen Imperatrice and we've been invited to join in the fun! As an added bonus, all sales Friday night only will return a 50% donation by Aileen to Creative Fresno! How cool is that! This will be your chance to collect some awesome art and support Creative Fresno in one shot.

Aileen Imperatrice is a Fresno born artist who's work has been seen by international audiences and has sold to collectors. Recently, Aileen and her work have appeared on a television show in the Bay area and Aileen's art also resides in a permanent museum collection in Italy. Since 1999, Aileen Imperatrice has presented herself as a full-time working artist with painted images to express her artistic view. After moving into her current studios, Aileen’s work took a decidedly more personal turn and has allowed the public to become familiar with her life experiences. Aileen’s art is symbolic and unapologetic. Her most recent works have been in series reflecting on memories, transitions and inspirations. Aileen’s work has been featured on magazine, newspaper and program covers, been selected to represent events and showcased on tv and in film.

The Blenders, which take place on the first Friday of the month, are Creative Fresno's social mixers of professionals, artists and entrepreneurs whose exchange of ideas are an effort to revitalize the urban life and landscape of the Fresno region.
