"Dead Christmas Trees" photographic exhibition opens this Art Hop @

"Dead Christmas Trees" (a photographic exhibition) opens this Art Hop. Artist Autumn Lencioni will present her photographs at the Spectrum Art Gallery throughout the month of December. The photographs, made in the Fresno/Clovis area throughout 2009, record the irony and humor of the dead trees' placement in society.

The series is meant to challenge contemporary culture by presenting the aftermath of our consumption just as we are about to engage in yet another season of such (and to amuse those of use who have an off-beat sense of humor).

All of the photographs are printed on 100% recycled paper and are available as greeting cards for a small donation to the Spectrum Gallery. A selection of work can be viewed at www.stymiecat.com
