ok, here's how it works guys: spam is reported to us by the users of fresno famous (this means you) and if enough of you report a blog or comment as spam, it automatically gets removed by the system. We review this spam regularly and if a user is found to have 100% spam posts (and i do remember that was the case with this user), then their account is banned. We understand that valuable and loyal members of this site are also business people in fresno and strongly encourage them to post relevant information about their business. but when a new user appears, and contributes nothing but spam links they're gonna get banned.

the bottom line is someone is trying to advertise on this site for free. this means that they are linking to a page where they are trying to make money off of you. its not like they were offering some community service, they were advertising their product irrelevantly, for the purpose of them making money off of our users. or maybe i completely misunderstood and eko marketing is a free service and is not trying to make money. if they are a free service, then i sincerely apologize for the misunderstanding, otherwise it seems to me like more spam. if your intention is to advertise on this site, contact the Bee's advertising department and buy a banner ad.

My name is Falina and I started Eko Marketing a couple of years ago. We are a small, creative marketing and design company located in the tower district. I really liked the fact that I could share our work with the community through Fresno Famous but since our account was interpreted as spam, I am sorry to see we are no longer welcomed on FF. We reach out to cosmetology students by promoting our makeover competition so students have a chance to showcase their work because they need so much encouragement while in school. It's my goal to help students reach their full potential by showcasing them on this website. We also market our services to small businesses in the area to help them be successful business. don't know if this is the same group of people, but there were some from an eko (ecko? echo?) marketing in fresno that did contribute some decent, normal stuff here @ ff.

actually, nevermind. i did a bit of searching through the database and found out your last user name was registered at some email address called ekomarketing.

so you apparently have this community social network confused with your own private free advertising spam board. thank you for helping make the internet a slightly worse place.

i can assure you that the first spam link you try to place on this site, your account will be deleted again. otherwise, if you would like to join in the conversations like a normal person, your account will remain active.

do you remember what your previous user name was? if you can tell me that, i'll look into it and let you know what caused that problem.
