F DTV!

If your TV goe son the frizt tonight, don't freak out. It's just the local TV stations testing us.

Are you ready for the DTV conversion? I am so not. And I'm not alone. Buying a converter box has been on my mind. In fact, I got the government-sponsored coupon (then let it expire).

But should government force technological advance? What if I like watching TV on my 10-inch black and white with the turn dials (no remote)? What if I don't feel like paying $60 a month for cable? I want my Simpsons for free, damn it.

The government has its reasons, but I'm still not convinced. Am I just being a luddite, here?

maybe.

i don't know if they gov't should force this change. seems a little like gov't is working hand in hand to force sales of tv's, boxes, and cable subscriptions. like when everyone went all ape-crank for blu tooth headsets.

and if anything, you're being a neo-luddite.
