Famous Chat (new update)

Check out the new Fresno Famous Live Chat that has been released today in a sort of beta version. It was a pretty simple app to write, and I really think there shouldn't be any major bugs, but if you run into trouble, just let me know.
To use it, simply be signed into your Fresno Famous account and then you can just start entering messages into the chat.
Besides bugs or problems, if you have any awesome ideas to make it better, just send me a message.

This looks like it could be fun.
now the chat shows the users that are currently online (on that page), so no more guessing if you're talking to yourself or not.
I love chat rooms.
Have to say. I prefer chatting over blogging or forums... just faster and a lot more conversation is exchanged.
mainly was written out of boredom. i have no projects i'm working on right now so i thought an ajax based chat would be fun to write. I know what you're sayin though, usually nobody uses PM or chat on boards like this. but it could provide a way to have real time discussions about stuff if anybody had the desire. just trying to bring any cool and fun things i can to this site, some are successful some aren't (classifieds, lol). we'll just have to wait and see...

kind of confused on the whole thing, we have blogs....how is there a need for the chat? I mean, what's the typical use. I have been on other boards with chat, and thousands of members, the chat hardly gets used. Just wondering what a lot of people who use the chat, use the chat for:) I know it seems obvious, but you know...
