Oh, no. Definitely not mine. And after I hit submit, I realized I was a bit guilty of spewing pent-up thoughts that were only slightly related, so for that I apologize to the Famous community.
The spam on here drives me nuts, and it doesn't seem to be getting better, despite increased measures to keep it out. Thus, transparency is important to me, and my thoughts came more from posts like the one about the fresno jobs site (though that fella just responded with a bit more info), or the one about fresno adult entertainment.
I still think it's important to differentiate between the types of self-promotion. But, I also realize that I spend way more time thinking about stuff like this than most...

i mainly commented because the initial comment was a "guest," and was bashing the site. although i don't work for the site, i take a bit of pride contributing here, and dislike when random people come on anonymously and talk crap about the site. heck, if they'd just create a user name, even though that can still be fairly anonymous, i'd be fine with it. plenty of users do.

so, i decided to snipe at the comment because it was anonymous. if you're saying it was yours, eye'll withdraw my comment ;).

Ed, I think there's a differentiation that needs to be made between your style of "push" and those found in this post, or in the ones I commented on last night.
1) Your sites are personal, so they're not what I'd consider to be "competitive." I can read your thoughts in blog format, see them expressed in art, or hear them via podcast (obviously, you have many thoughts).
2) It's not hard to figure out who you really are, which helps build trust.
3) Perhaps most importantly, you participate in other discussions on here. You didn't create your login just to advertise another site; you post original content (probably more frequently than anyone else), and you comment on others.
Now, as for your grammar...
