Fresno Arts Festival All Day Saturday

Hello Fresno Famous Peeps:

I would like to share with you that the Fresno Arts Council is having a Fresno Arts Festival today, Saturday Oct. 3rd, from 10a-6pm, at the lawn of FresnoMET (1555 Van Ness 93721).

There will be over 20 visual artists and music performances throughout the day. We will also award the 2009 Community Enrichment Program (for the Arts) Grants at 2 PM to over 29 local arts organizations.

If you happen to be FREE today, come and enjoy the cooler weather outdoors downtown. There is also an artists and "eco" community MeetUp from 12:30p to 2pm.

I can't believe I missed

I can't believe I missed this. :( I've been teaching myself the guitar and this festival could have been a great way to connect with other musicians. I picked up my acoustic from a shop I found on http://zippee.com (they had exactly what I was looking for). It's a beautiful instrument, but I've still got a way to go on my country stylins...to say the least. Haha!
