Once again…I have a small favor to ask...(I know that many of you will immediately run away kicking and screaming, but I really need your help!)

Hopefully, the misconception has died and you know the Central Valley Ronald McDonald House does not receive any outside funding. (Yes, we do have the name "McDonald," but we don't receive any formal funding coming from that direction). We remain operating only because of outside donations. It’s hard to believe, but we give families a home when they need it most just by the generous support of community members like ALL of you.

Now, with the economy in the state that it is, we are getting hit just as every other American is. Regardless of our current situation, we are really hoping to expand our outreach and make sure that EVERY family that needs us knows we are readily available to them.

On Thursday, February 12, 2009 beginning at 9am we are holding an Open House celebrating “25 Years of giving a Home Away From Home” to countless families. We would love you to attend and bring your families, friends, colleagues anyone and everyone that might be curious about what we do.

This house has drastically changed my life and I know that, given the chance, it will alter yours as well…
