Homophobia is so GAY! I mean that, literally. Clinical studies have been done that confirm Kinsey's famous mid-20th Century finding that most people have tried or thought abut gay sex, as well what we gays already know about those who hate and fear those of us who are openly gay:
namely, that homophobes are, in fact, latent homosexuals or bisexuals.
So, if you're a gal who's married to a guy who can't stop obsessing over the gay civil rights movement and/or homosexuality in general, you seriously need to ask yourself if it's worth your own health and happiness---and that of your kids---to contribute to the very conditions that may have led your man to deny his true feelings about other men, enter a sham marriage with you and loudly vocalize his hatred of gays by voting for an immoral, illegal law like Proposition 8.
The same goes for dudes who are married to homophobic women.
Barring that, ask yourselves, do you REALLY want to craft an American society that is indistinguishable from the gay-hating Arab Muslim society we are at war with?

My options are:

Why not leave the word Marriage to the Christians who seem to find it sacred even with the current divorce rate. Find a better word give it all the same legal and binding rights and go with it. The Bible accepts sexual practices that most condemn and condemns sexual practices that we accept. Several of them. A couple examples.
Deuteronomy 22:13-21

I have been poor my whole life, and I have been Republican for most of it. I am not afraid of gays or hate gays, I feel sorry for them. I love everyone. But...People are not born gay, they choose to be. Being gay is whats immoral and so is shoving it down our children's throats. If you want to be gay that's fine, go be gay, but don't tell my children they are.
I stand for what this country was founded on. If not for the right-wing Republicans as you call them you wouldn't have the freedom to say what you do. Go to any other country and try to receive gay rights and they will ether laugh at you or shoot you.
Don't worry, you will see once you vote in Obama/Hitler who will run us like a socialistic/communistic country and take all our freedoms away!!!

Unlike the lies Kittykat tells you, the media is owned by Neocons (NBC, for example, is owned by GE, which makes weapons to sell to the conservative-dominated Pentagon); I was poorer than just about anyone (who among you can say you lived in a tin shed in the dead of a Mariposa winter with cold running water?); people aren't born conservative or Christian, either; mandatory heterosexuality overpopulates; gays aren't shoving anything down anyone's throats (see the obsession with the gay sex part?); you'd know it if we were; and who is anyone to tell me I can't believe God is gay? At the very least, She's hermaphroditic, if you think about it.
Furthermore, I have just as much a right as Kittykat to tell my children it's ok to be gay, bi or straight and would have no problem with them learning about these issues in school; Republicans didn't "give" me my freedom to say so, as Kittykat claims, because my rights are inalienable, a birthright, if you will; and most Western nations have granted full legal gay equality, including marriage and adoption rights.

Kitty Kat :How would you treat your child or grandchild if they came home and told you they were gay? Would you still love them unconditionally or would you throw them aside, telling them they are evil and against God's way?
People that teach their children hate and intolerance are not doing them any favors. God taught love, understanding and tolerance.
